I purchased Abbyson's Emma Nursery Swivel Glider on 4-8-2019 from BuyBuyBaby(BBB) for $347.98. Within 14 months after my grandson's birth, it developed a loud, irritating squeak when rocking. My son repeatedly attempted to fix it, it would return. He called BBB, who forwarded him to Abbyson Living. They told him "it was out of warranty" and that they would refer a technician who would come repair it at a cost. Due to Covid, he declined. I visited in March 2021, after Covid flying restrictions had been lifted, and told him that I would assume/attempt to resolve the issue. I've asked BBB to replace the glider. They refused. Therefore, I called Abbyson, eventually making contact with Danielle L, Customer Experience Mgr. Per her request, I emailed the receipt & sales form, & she said that she 'would see what she can do'. Since then, she has ignored my 3 calls and 1 email. I am just asking for responsible & respectful customer service to repair or replace their defective glider.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Abbyson has never taken ownership of their defective workmanship or product. They continue to "pass the buck", referring me back to BuyBuyBaby, who has told me to contact the manufacturer, Abbyson. I am not a ping pong ball. I find it an egregious practice to avoid responsibility, not respond to my phone calls and emails, state the same lines repeatedly about the 12-month warranty &/or suggest sending a technician that they have told me I would have to pay for. This is their defect, it's their financial responsibility. My contact with Abbyson has been in process since May 14, 2021. My son's since summer 2020, after troubleshooting on his own(he does woodworking & builds furniture as a hobby). Four of my initial phone calls were disconnected, I have had to ask for supervisors and managers after getting repeated lip service, my emails have been ignored, and when I left messages for Danielle L. to return my call, after our initial conversation, all successive contacts(4) to her were ignored by her as well. My request is not anything more than respectful and responsible customer service for their product that is unusable for its intended purpose: to rock a baby to sleep. It is unfortunate that this action has needed to be taken, but it is simply the principle of the matter. Respectfully, L. *******
