How often should a dressing gown be washed?
There's lots of debate about how often we should wash towels and linen on the Mumsnet forum, but the answer is entirely personal. You can wash a dressing gown as often as you like, but it's really not necessary to wash it more than once a fortnight (and that's only if it's being worn every day). Kids only wear dressing gowns for a short period and usually after a bath, when they're clean. It's also not good for the environment if we over wash our towels either. So the message is don't over wash, and when you do, wash at 30 degrees.
